Located in Boaco, Nicaragua 90 miles northeast of Managua and represents 600 small farmers (over 3000 people).  This Union is made up of twelve cooperatives; ten producing coffee beans and two producing honey.  They market their product through “fair trade”, which allows them to make enough profit to invest in healthcare.
